Fairtrade Fortnight in Brampton

Brampton Fairtrade Group was very busy during Fairtrade Fortnight 2017! Here is a selection of the activities that took place:

1. Traidcraft Stall at Farmers ' Market..very wet morning.

2. Photos from most supportive cafe and shop...cafe would have been the venue for the Rowandan coffee grower.

3. Primary Schools invited to make FT logo, A4, in collage. One primary school gave us one for every child and we put them up for our coffee morning. They will use them for their 'Fairtrade break'. Posters shown here by a different school.

4. Fairtrade break at Organic farm/ cafe near Gilsland.

5. Primary schools 'Find the Fairtrade Banana' trail, a plastic numbered banana, with Fairtrade logo sticker on in 12 shop windows. Children had to fill in the sheet and write 2 sentences about why Fairtade is important. Fairtrade Easter egg prizes for all correct and best sentences for each participating school.
